The IMV Research Portal uses passwordless authentication.  This means you don't have to remember or store a password to access our site.  To keep things secure, we will send a code to your email address.  To login you:


  • Browse to the Portal at https://surveys.imvresearch.com 
  • Type your email address in the login dialog
  • Wait for the code to arrive in your inbox
  • Use the code to login


Once you have logged in, you will stay logged in for a month so you will not be logging in like this all the time.  Usually, the process goes smoothly, but occasionally there are a few hiccups.  If you are having trouble logging in, here are some things to try:


If you didn't receive a code in your inbox, there are a few things that might cause this:

  • Be sure you are using the correct email address.  You need to use the same email address that your Welcome email was sent to.  If we do not have an email in the system, we will not send a code and you will not receive one.
  • Be sure you trust emails from [email protected] .  Check your spam or junk folders to be sure that the code did not end up there.
  • Wait.  While the email typically shows up in under a minute, there are times when email traffic slows things down.  Wait at least 15 minutes before requesting another code.


If you received a code and it didn't work, there is only one cause:  you used an expired code.  This can happen because either:

  • It has been more than 30 minutes since the code was sent.  You should request another code.
  • You requested another code before the first was received, then tried to use the first code when it arrived.  In this case, wait 30 minutes so any outstanding codes are received, then request another and wait for it to arrive.
